though my boss thought highly of me, however i just dont want to go the other company (also his company) to undergo training.

i have been used to the colleagues, environment and working procedures here. haiz.

just received email that boss wants me to go there to undergo training and learn more stuffs during this week. it's good to learn of course.

but heard it may not be just training, but permanent work there. (that means i might not be able to work with my current colleagues anymore)

i feel sad and sigh many times after hearing abt it.

working life~

everything seems so aimless and there is no sense of achievement in work..

although used to it, but am tired and bored of the same routine everyday. :(

I am now definitely not using much of my brains now, because no mugging, memorising and reading books anymore.

wonder how will i be when i am back to schooling life. haha.

i miss the books, the studying. used to hate it a lot but once in the working society, i wish i am still studying.

I am definitely taking degree for the next intake, but still confused over the choices. :s

had been working for 3 months already and received confirmation letter.

used to this working life and there are many office politics recently which caused unhappiness between colleagues one after another.

i had also been made the 'middleman' between these two colleagues. hopefully things become better. =/

there was one steamboat outing for colleagues in the sales manager's house last saturday. ex colleagues were there also. i like the environment dere.

there was also one day when we ate breakfast in kfc before work , but end up eating mac cos kfc is only open in 8am.

i have yet to eat kfc am meals till now, hahas.

went out with one of my colleagues today after work for a movie, 9 temples. not as scary as expected but i dont quite understand what is going on towards the end of the movie.

but it's more worthy compared to the recent movies i watched.

i miss my close friends :(

just came back from woodlands waterfront after a stroll, which is near my hse :D

30 mins walk from my hse, a newly built big park.

it is a gd place for relaxing and i havent exercised for so long alr. feels so gd to sweat.

hahas, a very gd place for exercising. i should go dere more often.

shall update on my work. my relationship with them is getting better and there is a new guy joining the company which is ard the same age as me..

however, one colleague had left and one is leaving soon this month..

meet many unreasonable customers, learn how to be more flexible and make up many "crap" reasons in handling customers.

think i have also changed a lot during this so called break? but i am nt sure if it's a gd thing or not.

Already hit 20 le. omg.

went out with many grps of frens after work consecutively, hahaas..

tues went out with yk (bd fren), wed with poly frens, thurs (my official birthday) with sec sch besties then today with my cca frens. and also not forgetting my family and colleagues who celebrate with me. =) mon oso got one more celebration, havent confirmed yet.

hahas i shall elaborate on the day of my official birthday (6th May)

at first thought colleagues did not know my birthday (only May knew it and she wished me only)

after lunch time they shocked me with a surprise and a birthday cake. i thought why there was a blackout. simple thoughts like this touched me.

took pics with them separately oso. happy tt my relationship with them is getting better. :D

after work met up with my sec sch cliques to swensens for dinner. they also surprised me with an ice cream cake. dinner was treated by them oso. so exp and felt so guilty. they sang birthday song loudly until i was very shy. ate two cakes in one day. so full.

as u can see, i didnt receive any presents from them for my birthday, except for my parents' and sis's and maid's presents (tops, handphone straps, hair accessories and etc) because it's more of treats i received =)

but then today i also received presents from yanhan and panmin. thx =)

of course i appreciated the treats from frens also. =) AND the wishes as well. =)

had the most memorable bdae celebration this year. :D

time flies and tmr is the 4th week of work already.

there are some nice and friendly colleagues out there, however there are also selfish, unhelpful, arrogant ppl out dere. well..I don't really look forward to working there everyday.

Hopefully things turn out better as time passes and I can learn more new things.

watched Clash Of The Titans after work ytd. not nice, i fell asleep at the beginning. lol.

some parts are similar to the Percy Jackson. But Percy Jackson one is much more nicer.

have been working for three days already and it's a totally different environment.

With staffs that are serious and busy with work, no music in the background, no laughter and so on.

and can tell they are not so willing to teach. i still got a lot to learn. HAIZ.

i think i got the malaysian accent already. omg. the steps for the taking order, DO, invoicing, updating are too much (since it's a daily inventories stuff) that i cannot remember some. =/

cant imagine i am going to take over someone who is taking on leave for two days from mon. sure got many errors. omg.

just got back my results, dont think can get into uni le. i miss school life. it's so much better than work seriously.

This society is very realistic especially in Singapore.

If you do not study higher education or pay is low, people will be sarcastic and look down on you. even those who are close to you.

After all we are people on Earth. Isnt it better if people can treat others nicely and be humble?

Dad shared with me some matters just now and I just feel so helpless, cant find solution for him and for my whole family. =/

i even had nightmares ytd of my family member passing away. and thats really scary.

this bad and unsecure feeling. =/

wednesday went for the marketing career talk. still thinking what i really want. to work 1st or to study 1st or to work part time and work. was thinking of a uni in mind which has an easier route and cost lesser, but that course is business again. (not my interest)

this is really a hard decision to make.

i wish i can get out of this sch very fast but i still havent decided my next step. Pls give me any advice. hahaha.

out to science centre and bodyworld today. well nt enough time to visit the whole of science centre. but at least bodyworld is quite interesting.

well, i think 2009 really sucks for me, even the last day of 2009. something happens that dampens my mood.

hopefully 2010 would be a better year.

well ytd went hospital to visit mum again after sch, skipping e talk.

she looks better now, but still refuses to go home, even though she can be discharged.

a lot of patients come in and there are insufficient rms to "house" them, so my mum has to be discharged soon.

can also notice from the scene that many ppl are suffering from depression. this also reflects much on the stressful society. from e same ward, there is a gal only aged 15 suffering from depression, due to academic stress.

doctor is still examining my mum's special case.

slept for 1+ hr ytd until 5 am and on the way to work at 6am.

actually can sleep longer, cos in-charge was late oso.

tended one of the game stalls (shoot the tins with balls), gave instructions on how to play and tt includes oso continuly chasing after the balls where the children threw too hard.

very tiring and we started to slack ard 1pm. cleaned up e mess and ended work at 2pm.

hahas, after work we went to the penguin expedition. the penguins are so cute.

on e way back to boon lay :)

then jurong pt to eat with ly and enjoying the chat with her while eating.

mushroom with ham pasta. quite nice. =)

jp is so different already with more shops around which is good. hahas.

continued shopping for ff's present. met up with ff after tt in vivo. accompanied her to eat and went to skypark to take pictures and for her to open her present. headed to daiso before going home. hhaas, ff bought me caramel corn. my favourite!! sweet of her.

okies. as expected, i didnt do well for my exams agn. dun ask what's my gpa if i dun wan to say.

think will work first before taking private uni? not sure yet.

have really made the wrong choices, should not have taken business admin and even marketing, which aren't my interest at all.

dunno why in the first place i took it. should have taken childhood education? i like kids a lot. should have taken some kind of engineering course? i dunno.

all i could say is try my best for my last sem. as what frens just told me.

hahas, after such a long time, i went to cssc again to mentor the kids with yh and yy.

yh bought me quite a number of things from korea and orlando. I especially like the mickey mouse keychain from disney =)

this time is so different with many unfamiliar faces around. but overall i still miss those memories when i taught them. hahas.

very moody today especially cos of the results. especially when those frens say their gpas are 4. (u noe who u r) and i didnt really talk a lot.

those who consoled me saying still got last sem. i appreciate a lot. hahas, bt its impossible to catch up in the last sem. maybe i should be prepared for the worst to come.

haha last week was really a tiring week with BD and GBE presentation lining up.
with 2 hrs plus sleep for both days. (i usually slept at 12am the latest)
I also find that i actually worked quite well with my BD grpmates. Mainly bcos my working style complements well with them. Able to do things tgt as a group. :)

Tues- tink gonna flunk my IAF test (20% weightage) felt so lousy HAIZ..
Wed- editing MC report and discussing BD after lecture. Went to a study room to discuss with my grp mates and wow, amazed by their class.
Fri- skipped lecture and went to discuss BD again
Have just finished my and my friend's BD parts and MC today.
But we havent completed compiling the BD ppt yet, and Mr Roger says our raw ppt not solid enough.
Compiling and rehearsing tmr, soo last minute, hopefully i can manage my Q&A.
All the due dates are so packed-.-
BD presentation is on MON, GBE presentation is on TUES..die liao lor..somemore formal for both days.

it's time for my laptop and me to have a rest.
oh ya, i forgot to say one incident. My laptop got blue screen on Thurs when i switched on. Jacklin attempted to help me solve the problem. However, it was not solved. I am still grateful for her help lah. =)
went to 2248 and the ATTITUDE in-charge said the whole datas were gone in C Drive and D Drive. No idea how he checks. Was so upset. BUT when I reached home and checked, my important documents are still there. Phew=)
scared the hell out of me.

Investment Finance Analysis paper was ok, except for the theory part, hopefully is what i expected only few marks gone. the past yr MST was damn easy lor, dun have theory oso. Always like tt.-.-
Marketing Communication paper that i took today was crap. ask questions like what is ethnic? what is positioning? I study so detailed but they gave such general questions. how to answer sia. i crapped through the whole paper, so good luck to me sia.

can't believe it when both of them blame us for not telling the tutor that they contributed to the ppt.
it's not lyk our fault.
Firstly, u guys didnt come to class for presenting and only two of us were lyk presenting.
Secondly, when we finished presenting, she says tt those not coming will nt be given any participation marks even though they contributed to the ppt.
Before this tutorial, the tutor already told us to be present, if not no participation mark.
Then what can both of us do?

thurs presentation and we still have a lot of undo stuffs. Survey analysis not done finish, report not done finish, ppt not done finish. DOOM!
MC hasnt done, GEMS hasnt done.

Just to happen to see sp website and saw my fren Kuri actually scored 33 distinctions for all his modules and these are really a great achievement, top in SP history. LOL. Not only that, he received a lot of awards and has many leadership roles in many activities. How i wish i can be so smart.

recession plus swine flu plus weather that is going haywire.
Omg, what is happening to this world?
Hope situation would turn better and guys, do take care of ur health and practise good hygiene (:
haha, there's gonna be temperature taking on tues and i havent even bought my thermometer yet. The last time i had temperature taking was Sec1 and that was so long time ago.

These 2 weeks of school are rather manageable, but waking up at 6 am has become routines for 4 days per week.
Both my business development and my gems group members are quite friendly. To your info, they are ppl of different course or different class as me, so they are my new friends.=)
Bd tutorial was rather stress, cos we had to think of unique business idea that we can implement using $100,000 and the tutor did not seem to have any encouraging words-.-
Most lectures and the gems are more boring, as compared to the previous yrs.
There are no more interesting lecturers and the gems tutor is like speaking to herself and very unprepared throughout the whole lesson.
Tink i have chosen the wrong gems haha, should have taken more interesting one, since it's my last gems. Going to have presentation,group report and test for this module-.- gd luck to me

3 more days to my bdae and this yr i dun tink will have any presents but will have some celebrations and treats. miss the days i have presents sia. Haha, just kidding.:p

went SAKURA to eat ytd with my colleagues after a trip to JJC. it's our interns farewell dinner as well as 2 Rs' belated birthday.
And i ate until very full, cos during the dinner, we played "7up" and the losers should eat the remaining food. I lost quite a number of times haha and I ended up eating a lot of cakes-.-
We oso took group pictures and that reminds me of an Indian man, hahaha, so funny.
He was supposed to take pics of us but he thought he would be in the picture, so he stood there beside Alex and posed. And a lot of funny stuff.
Continued our game on the MRT and the game ended after JE station at Clementi. We had to take back to JE to reach home.
today is the last day of ITP and I am so happy tt it ends today! But somehow reluctant, cos of my sweet colleagues there. We took pics agn. Haha. But we will sure keep in touch man.

today is a damn long and tiring day, imagine i have to work during Sat.
went Red Dot Design Museum and assisted with the registration of the teachers for the workshops.
ended my work only at 2.30pm after which met up with my frens.
didn have much sleep and ytd i reached home at ard 10+pm after preparing the workshops stuff which ended at 8+ and dinner with my colleagues.
i shall replenish my sleep tmr, and doing the meeting ppt and time to select my gems also.

I find myself making the wrong choice of being in business course and being in marketing option.
Especially when I have to crack my brain when doing marketing stuff during ITP and the releasing of results, which is deproving after the 1st year.
I am not happy being in this course and option at all, mainly because I am not interested in marketing at all and my personality don't match me well with marketing.
Trying to change my personality as well but I think that is not the real me and I am not happy with it.
Sometimes I find myself really useless, what can I really do when I am good at nothing?
Many circumstances just make me feel so depressed Haiz.
If some problems can be solved, how good can it be?

Have recently kept in touch with ff, who does very well in her A level.
She's somehow in the same situation as me, that is why she can understand my situation well.
Happy that she plans to further her studies in Uni and has plans for her future already.
But what's me? Don't think I have the ability to even further my studies..
and how can I accomplish my mum's wish when she is pinning all her hope on me to be the "breadwinner" in the family?
How about my future goal to open my own business, like cafe when I do not have the capability and resources to do so?

I know I have been thinking too much, but these are some of the things that have been bugging me.
I wish that I can be as happy as before. But situations don't make me so.

Sometimes I really detest this kind of life. Life just sucks.

i sprained my legs, while walking down the staircase in the company-.-
was doing some admin stuff and am the only one going the briefing and networking session in SPRING with the boss.
there was this Young Entrepreneurs Scheme for schools which provides schools with grants of up to $100,000 to support structured entrepreneurial learning activities. haha, very interesting.
this encourages individuals to be enterprising and innovative.
teachers and vendors were there for networking.
1st time doing networking was so nervous sia.
most of the time was assisting him and watching him networking..
haha when i returned to office, I became very blurr while i was doing some letter stuff, making someone laugh like mad..lols..
tmr is the last day of the 1st week of itp.

everyday waking at 6 am and climbing up the many steps of the stairs become a daily routine for me since attachment.

was doing newsletter and praises for the books, all involve typing, typing and typing.

hahaha just ended my 1st day of itp.
a very tiring day. what had i been doing for today? i had staring at the laptop for the whole day, trying to crack my brain thinking about the various marketing ideas for the company website.
But i think my ideas suck, even though the boss says it's good. hahaha.
nvm, i hope i can improve through this itp, hopefully learn more entrepreneurial skills (:
i was thinking abt putting my status in facebook, complaining etc, hahaha
but i remember that the bosses ask me to add them, so i cnt say anything there..
dun say i "eat snake" cos i was evaluating the company's facebook profiles too.
i also didn dare to do so, cos they are around my working area. :X
the boss is kind to even ask us if we wanted to attend a marketing session after work,
which costs very expensive.

just now my brain was suddenly blank during blaw exam. I can't think of any answer. Luckily still manage to "crap" after a short while..
i also can't say the 2 papers will get high marks.
i think i would say sure i will get low marks, then i will get high marks :p cos it's always lyk tt for me.
these few days can't really focus on revision, a short while i will stare blankly, go internet, chat chat.-.- and will always have headache.=(

wee..i have finally finished my interview and i was late.
Not because i purposely one, is because the company has two places,
then i went to the wrong one, which is the main company.

Haha, heng i got my supervisor to help me..
i took 3 more stops from there to the sales and marketing department.
Fill the application form and meet the interview. He was friendly, kept smiling, so i become less nervous liao.
After interview, saw Idy, my new sp friend. She also came for interview, so i waited for her too.
And she told me that the interviewer says tt we have to wear formal for four days and semi-casual for the 5th day per week.
That means i have to buy many tops and bottoms liao, probably buy after exams lor.
1 weight down le..
Hopefully, i would have a wonderful experience for itp (:

Projects are gone! woohoo!
But i am left with exams and itp to go, which make me sian!
Feb exam is tmr, and i haven started studying yet.. haha..
This week was a crazy and tiring week, which we have to rush projects like mad, cos it is near to the due dates.
During break on fri, i went to see my liaison officer for itp briefing at t4,
where it is SO far from our business block and when i reached, he's still nt there..
Cost me to wait like mad, as there is CONB Presentation after tt,
which means that i have to rush back to business block again.
Got to know that 2 more dba students are oso in the same company as me, don't know if it is lucky or unlucky..
after sch, we went for Networking session until 9 pm. The presenter is from ms singapore 2008 pageant and she presented so well!

tt means no hols for me during tt period..=( and i dunno where to work so will let the sch choose..
wonder where i will be working, somemore will be one person sia..
and there is business development for yr 3 which has very high weightage, one grp mus consist of one marketing which is me,two human resource, two banking finance which i dunno who to grp with...
the course modules are becoming more and more boring and hard to catch up..especially supply chain management, financial management, business law, human resource management..
and i am stepping down as my current post of my cca alr..
hoping tt i cn concentrate more on my studies..hopefully..
oh ya and i am recently doing online website selling cakes,
and it is still under construction..

i'm back to blogging hehe..
school has started for the past 2 weeks and it is very tiring, have to force myself to wake up..
the gems i take is also quite fun and useful..
and one of the questions tt is very interesting..
GUESS: try not to keep your hair long if you are:
1. fat
2.thin
3. not less than 160 cm

the answer is not less than 160cm (no offence)

furthermore, i participate in meaningful event on two sats recently, Pink Bridge Walk..
the purpose is to raise awareness of breast cancer and walk for the women in our lives..
today is the actual event,
and 10 0f us went to Henderson Waves and Hort Park in either our pink or white attire..
it is tedious and tiring having to walk a very long way to reach our destination..
the rest were dispatched into different places to ensure safety and guide patients in the quiz..
while the 4 of us were in charge of providing assistance during the ribbon game..
The pink ribbon is the international symbol representing awareness and hope for women with breast cancer.
it is interesting to see them designing the ribbons in different ways using the materials available..
overall it is a nice and meaningful experience (:

MON went kbox singing at suntec city dere and ate at secret recipe(forgt what i ate)..and the cakes we ate were nt so nice as compared to the previous time we ate strawberry cheesecake..

haha, i got a job as operator in wdl..
working with jeje and ting..
went interview at amk today at 1pm and straightaway started work for 2 hours, lols..

After that i went mentoring.

running nose ok liao, but my throat is still very itchy plus sore throat after eating MAC with ting..
hahas, job hunting today, well nid to wait for call tmr for details,
because the person answering the call dunno the scope of the job as well..-.-
but i doubt there would be any calls..
hehe..then me and ting went jeje's hse to slack for a while..
played with jessica, who is jeje's small sister..she's grown up so much..
she's very high, while playing the game..lols..
i wish i got small sis or bro to play with, that would be so good!! HAHAS..
